QBIS mobile time capture

With QBIS mobile interface, you have access to all functions directly on the mobile. Which makes it easy for you to work in QBIS no matter where you are. The most used features of the mobile are gathered in a widget view for easy access.

Set up QBIS in your mobile

QBIS is not available as an app in the Appstore or Google Play, but uses a technology called “Progressive Web Apps”, abbreviated PWA. This means that the app is built directly into QBIS, and thus mobile-friendly. The advantages of using a PWA instead of a traditional app are many, it allows for more updates, as there is no separate app that needs to be updated, but the update for the app and the interface for the web takes place simultaneously. In many cases, the page that uses PWA will also be faster.

QBIS App – Add to home screen

Although QBIS is not available in the Appstore or Google Play, it is possible to save an icon on the home screen for faster access to the system. Follow the steps below to add QBIS to the home screen, hold the mouse pointer over the numbers to see the instructions.

STEP 1

Open Safari on your mobile, go “apps.qbis.com” and log in to your QBIS account

STEP 2

Once logged in, click on the “more arrow”

STEP 3

Scroll up for more options and select “Add to home screen”

STEP 4

A dialogue box will appear. Name your icon and click “Add” at the top right. An icon will now be placed on your home screen.

Features with QBIS mobile interface

All the functionality that is available in the web interface in QBIS is also available in the mobile interface, which creates opportunities for you as a user to work in QBIS completely regardless of where you are. Below is a review, both in the form of video and text of the most common functions in QBIS that are directly in the widget view.

Start and stop time

With Arrival and Walking Time in QBIS, you can easily stamp in when you get to work and stamp out when you leave. Stamp the time by clicking come, pause or go. After you have stamped, a notice will be displayed with the time of your stamping. You can easily follow your working hours in real-time under “Working hours”.

Register Time

Registering time is a shortcut to your time card. In the time card you can easily report your working hours for the day; fill in the fields for come, break and go. In your time card, you can easily get an overview of your working day and by turning on your mobile you can get an overview of your week. The arrows in the date field allow you to go back and correct previous days or weeks.

In the time card, you also have the opportunity to report deviations, activity time (only for users working on projects) and see a daily overview.

Apply for time off

With the Time Off widget, you can easily apply for vacation, parenting leave or any other kind of leave. Fill in the date, possibly hours, salary activity and choose to whom the application should be sent. It is also possible to write a comment in your leave application. Send by clicking on the paper aeroplane. At the bottom of the page, you can see a summary of your time balances.

Project time in project

The project time widget allows you to report time directly to an activity within a project. You can both report your time in real-time by starting a timer, or afterwards by filling in how many hours you have worked on an activity.

To report your time in real-time, select project, activity and then click start. To instead report your time afterwards, you instead fill in the number of hours you have put into the selected project and activity. All reported project time is compiled at the bottom of the page.

Time Balances

In the widget “My Balances” you can see all your current time balances. All deviating time, such as flex, vacation, comp, m.m. presented here. You can easily filter balances for a better overview by selecting list or grid view. By clicking on specific balances, you can get more information about the selected balance.

Register Project Material

With project materials, you can easily report materials to a project. By choosing the type of material, project, activity, date of purchase, number and unit cost, it is quick to register the material. You can also link the material directly to invoicing to the customer. In the list view, you can easily see all types of material reported.
